Course overview
This
course is designed for the Flight instructor that would like to advance
their skills and abilities in the Robinson Helicopters. Our Chief pilot
will take you through enhanced training, unusual attitude training and
recovery procedures in ground effect and at altitude for a multitude of
emergency procedures. This will be done with great care and moved into
slowly so that the student can maximize their learning potential.
- recovery from adverse student errors
- Zero speed autorotations
- Precision full touch down autorotations
- Down-wind quick stops
- Quick input wire strike avoidance
- Stuck pedal, tail rotor failure
- Transmission failure
- Emergency procedures

- Can be done in either R22/R44 or both
- Flight time can be reduced as required
Prerequisites
- 150 hours helicopter
- 50 hours Robinson
- 10 hours in the last 60 days
- Commercial pilot certificate
- CFI certificate (for those wanting student error training)
- Good attitude, quick response time and clear head
- In good health without head congestion or illness
