This
course is designed to be done at our Lake Tahoe location but can be done
from any of our locations (prices will vary accordingly depending on
aircraft mountainous areas used). You will get a complete ground course
as well as actual high altitude mountain training. See our
Lake Tahoe page for more info on
that area. This course is recommended but not required for professional
training. Any student that takes this course will be glad they did. It
places maximum work load on the aircraft and pilot to produce an
advanced understanding of what it takes to fly a helicopter in tough
situations.
note: Our mountain course will challenge every pilot to their personal
limits and is not designed for those pilots that do not wish to find out
where the edge of the flight envelope is. This course will put both
aircraft and pilot near the operating limits.
